We seek highly motivated postdoctoral scientist and engineer in cell biology to investigate the molecular mechanism underlying NMDA receptor function in the developing brain and dysfunction in psychosis.
We use a combination of cutting-edge imaging (single nanoparticle tracking, super‐resolution microscopy), electrophysiological, and biochemical approaches in various neuronal preparations.
We look for candidates with a strong background in cellular neuroscience and/or optical microscopy. The candidates may either have a strong biophysical or biological training; both options will be thoroughly examined. The candidates will work in an international and interdisciplinary (neurobiology, optic physics) scientific community. The funding is for 1-3 years.
