2016-02-09: I will be presenting at Focus on Microscopy in Taipei, Taiwan in March 2016.


My PhD work involves using adaptive optics to improve single molecule localization (SML) imaging techniques like PALM and STORM. Notable applications involve using the adaptive optics system to apply a pure astigmatism for enhanced 3D imaging at the coverslip, as well as to correct sample aberrations and enable SML imaging away from the coverslip in more complex media.


Since 2013:PhD Student at the IINS, in a CIFRE collaboration with Imagine Optic (Orsay, France).

2012 - 2013: Masters exchange program (ATLANTIS MILMI) in physics (lasers, materials and nanoscience) at the University of Bordeaux 1.

2011 - 2013: Masters studies in Optics at the University of Central Florida College of Optics and Photonics.
