Semaine du cerveau

Organized every year in March, since 1998, "La Semaine du cerveau / Brain Awareness Week" is coordinated in France by the Society of Neuroscience.
This international event, held simultaneously in nearly 100 countries and more than 40 cities in France, aims to raise awareness of the importance of brain research. This is an opportunity for many researchers, doctors and student volunteers to meet the public and share with them the advances made in neuroscience research laboratories, to present the issues for brain knowledge and the implications for our society.
Throughout this week, the general public and young high school students will be able to meet researchers to learn more about the brain and about current research.
Every year, more than 35,000 people participate and share the enthusiasm of researchers.
