Advanced models of physio-pathological situations have to recapitulate the features observed in vivo. Among them, the biochemical composition, the 3D geometry and the rheological parameters are key. In order to generate biomimetic in vitro models, we used functionalized 3D cuvettes templates of tunable stiffness by using PRIMO and a protocol develop in the team (Pasturel et al.; 2019). This cuvettes are useful to grow different cell types into spheroids that we further characterize by using high-resolution imaging technics. Our favorite models are the neurosphere model and the lung alveolosphere model that we develop in collaboration with physicians (Maeva Zysman and Pauline Henrot, Hospital Haut-Lévêque, Bordeaux, France) and academic researcher (Isabelle Dupin, INSERM, Bordeaux, France).
