Our expertise

The aim of the virus facility is to facilitate the use and orders of viral tools for both in vitro and in vivo experiments. 

The facility provides technical advices on viral vector (AAVs, Lentiviruses,…) and allows the exchange of viral tools within IINS. A database lists the viral constructs provided by the teams and by the facility:

The facility holds a dedicated L2 room for in vitro transduction of rodents and human samples.
Our equiment includes:

  • 3 PSM
  • 4 incubators
  • 1 micro-injection system
  • 1 microscope with camera for fluorescence checking
  • 1 macroscope with camera for fluorescence checking
  • 1 centrifuge

All the information necessary for the IINS teams (database, procedures, calendars) are available on the UB Cloud shared folder.
